Covington Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home invites the Fort Wayne community to attend a special tribute to the veterans served at Covington. The event will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, in the Veterans Garden on the cemetery grounds, and will include the Riderless Horse, Ft. Wayne Scottish Pipes & Drums, and the Concordia Lutheran High School Color Guard, singers and Mascot team. For more details, please contact Sarah at 260-432-2508.
As of April 25, 2013, the Covington Road Bridge over Interstate 69 (east of the funeral home) will be closed until late November. Family and friends are asked to use State Road 14 W to Scott Road (turn south) to Covington Road then east (turn left) to funeral home.
